A Rough Edit :)

Rejection

The recording we were going to use over the top of the film, has decided not to work with the format of the film... therefore we couldnt use it.
We have a voice recorder to use, and hopefully this will work.

Editing problems

We've had an editing problem, due to our clips being unlinked to the program, and we've had to spend some time re-linking our clips so it'll work again... However, we had it all rendered, and now we've got to render it all over again.

RENDERING

We started rendering our work... then the computer crashed.
However steph is currently rendering the start of our film to see how it goes.
Hopefully it'll work well, but we are going to edit it again afterwards with other shots and other styles, and render that see which one works out better.

EDITING!!!!!!

We have a really good base for our opening film, however the shots we really likes seemed to have our actor Sam speaking over the top of them... We are thinking about taking out the audio and replacing them with audio sound affects such as wind, this is easy as you can tell by the particular day we shot that it was windy and dull.

Editing

We are now half way through editing our film,
so far it has worked really well and we have had no problems with any of our clips apart from the one where Sam drops the bag, which in defence we didn't tell her how to exactly drop it. In the clip you can see Sam getting to the point where we told her where to drop the bag, however you can see her hand reaching out and actually dropping the bag when it was suppose to look like an accident. This has lost the high verisimilitude we were hoping for.
However we over came this and we managed to zoom in on Sam and the horse, to where the bag drops between the horses legs because we knew that we wouldn't be able to get the same shot again. We thought this wouldn't work at first cause it would look to blurred, however it has worked really well and doesn't look too bad of a quality.
We are almost done putting all the clips we need in the shot in, all we have do to is include some more clips and add in affects, this will give it a professional look and feel to the film. Also to put in the credits, music, logo and title.
So we have done alot of the project already with few little problems.
Hopefully we'll be done soon and will be of a high quality.

PREMIERE PRO JUST CRASHEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steph thinks shes saved it before it crashed, hopefully she has and it hasnt deleted all the work we did today....!!!!!!

Editing

We are current editing, however the first copy we had didn't work, it seemed to unlike all the clips from the program.
I just opened the new editing i did yesterday, and it worked with all the clips linked.
I'm focusing on the blogs today whilst Stephi focuses on the premiere pro work :)
We are please with many of the clips we did on the shooting day.
Opinions would be great for particular shot :)

This is the clip we are going to use for the friends death in our film.
We like the affect of how the background looks really long and mysterious, as if there may be a witness hiding in the trees in the distance.

We really like this one as it shows that the killer isn't killing people of at random... but has a hidden agenda
